On June 1, 2009, the merger between Success University and World Ventures became official. The membership database for Success University was merged into the database of World Ventures and all active members of Success University are now Independent Representatives for a travel company.

I joined Success University in June of 2008 because it was a company that provided personal development training that was delivered both online via their online training portal and via the mail – we received personal development DVDs and CDs at our home. With this merger, the Success University training center will be available through the World Ventures back-office training site. However, we will no longer receive the training materials delivered to our home. That’s a real bummer. While the online training portion is excellent, I really looked forward to receiving the materials at my home as well.



I took a lot of time going over the World Ventures back office, and must say that it is very impressive. If you’ve ever wanted to ‘get away’ at the last minute, you can find some great travel deals for last minute destinations; many I found were for less than $40 per night at popular beach destinations. I have no desire to ‘travel the world’, so the vacation packages to Europe and Greece and all the cruises are not appealing to me at all. But, they are excellent travel deals that I haven’t been able to find otherwise. As a matter of fact, I booked a 4 night trip to the beach last night for less than I ever have in the past. Quite impressive. My daughter is thrilled about it. She loves the beach.

If for no other reason the travel deals you get as an Independent Representative for World Ventures, in my humble opinion, is worth staying on with the company after this merger. And, if you can get paid when people you refer to your site take a vacation, well then that’s just a dream come true.
